Pearl VanderHart Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pearl VanderHart of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Arnold; her son Ken; and her granddaughter Molly VanderHart. She is survived by: her children, Dave VanderHart (Ruth), Steve VanderHart (Nancy) and Ellen Teft (Joel); her grandchild Cori Bose (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Jack and Oscar; her grandson Dirk VanderHart (Julika); her great grandchild Hugo; her grandson Joe VanderHart (Sarah Douglas); her great grandchild Jaida; her granddaughter Ann Bodziak (Brad); her great grandchildren, Whitney (River) and Alex; her grandchildren, Ben VanderHart (Stephanie), Joel Teft, Jr. and Julie Baldwin (Bryan); and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Charlie and Millie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cutlerville East Christian Reformed Church (501 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49548). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Contributions in memory of Pearl may be made to Cutlerville East CRC or Faith Hospice.
