With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peter D. Christopoulos (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Demetrios Christopoulos and Eleni Christopoulos; and his brothers, George and Vasilios (late Georgia). He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Helene, Jimmy (Vasiliki) and Andrew; his grandchildren, Maria and Peter; his siblings, Lambros (Vula) and Voula (late Dimitri); and his sister-in-law Dina. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, c/o Peter Christopoulos.

“I remember when Pete bought the old Dog ‘n Suds on Lake Michigan Dr. I was just a teenager and all our friends would go there and get curbside service and trays on our car windows. Pete had a dream and he made Mr. Burger, his dream come true. I’m 73 now and Peter passed on my birthday. His legacy will live on because that was his dream. My sincere sympathy to his wife, children, grandchildren and all those whose lives he touched. May you know he brought much joy into many young lives.”
