Balzeski (Reed); his grandchildren, Kaleb, Ethan, Chase, Ryder, Grant, Zelie Verbeek, Alexander, Lilly, Violet, April and Broly Balzeski; his siblings, Grace Heyboer (Erwin), Perry Verbeek (Carol), Renz Verbeek (Jenith), Andrew Verbeek (MaryJane) and Mary Ouwinga; and his siblings-in-law, Doris Verbeek, Alice Verbeek, Audrey Lakanen (Brian), Gary Owczarzak and Daniel Owczarzak. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary (3525 Remembrance Rd NW, Walker, MI 49544). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Church (2230 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (2000 Walker Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
