He was predeceased by: his wife Bessie Tompkins Cousar; and his brothers, Robert Moore Cousar, Jr. and Charles Raymond Cousar. He is survived by: his girlfriend Lois Alexander; and his children, Philip Cousar, Jr. of Sand Lake, MI and Teresa Anne Cousar Klaynik of Saugatuck, MI. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
