He is survived by: his wife Cherry; his children, Karen Baxter, Kristen Heckendorn (Steve) and Paul (Cindy); his grandchildren, Casey Wilson (Ronny), Matt Baxter, Kate Hanson (Chantry), James Heckendorn, Grace Heckendorn, Gillian Young and Graham Young; his great grandchildren, Liam Wilson and Shepard Wilson; his brother-in-law Lee Harris (Maria); his sibling's children, Jesse Harris (Jessica), Mandy Harris (Denise Hagerla), Christy Myers (Todd), Debbie Case (Jon), Ted Jacobus (Dawn) and Jack Scarborough (Julie); Debbie Scarborough (David).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Camp Henry Jacobus Scholarship Fund, Westminster Presbyterian Church Trust Fund, or to the Grand Rapids Community Foundation.
