With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Phyllis DeVries of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Phyllis left this world on April 23, 2024 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by : her brother Roger Rauwerda (Dee). She is survived by : her husband Dennis; her children, Dan DeVries (Kerrie), Dave DeVries (Gwen) and Deb Nelson (Eric); her grandchildren, Paul DeVries (Emily), Erin Grotenhuis (Ian), Jack DeVries, Benjamin DeVries, Mark DeVries, Cody Nelson and Trevor Nelson; her great grandchildren, Avery, Ellie, Barrett, Rory, Sutton, Oly and Amelia; and her nephews, John Rauwerda and Jim Rauwerda (Jane).

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Westend Christian Reformed Church (1015 Westend Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).

Contributions in her memory may be made to Faith Hospice or Maranatha Bible and Missionary Conference.
