She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn McClelland and Kenneth Ackley; her sister Vivian Ackley Makely; her brother-in-law Vernon Makely; and her brother Marvin Ackley.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Fowler; her children, Randy (Kim Fowler), Teri (Kirk Kennedy), Marva (Bob Shumway) and Jeff Fowler; her brothers, Gary Ackley (Sharon) and Butch Ackley (Diane); and her sister-in-law Sharon Ackley. She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Daniels Funeral Home (9200 M-79, Nashville, MI 49073).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Corewell Health Hospice in Phyllis's memory.
