It is with sadness that the passing of Ralph Vander Klok (Grand Rapids, Michigan) is shared. Ralph, born on May 2, 1934, passed away on September 12, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph VanderKlok and Marie VanderKlok; his wife Marilyn; his son Ralph VanderKlok III; his son-in-law Dale Hyma; and his great grandchild Caroline Mulder.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Hyma and Kristy Mulder (Bill); his grandchildren, Bradley VanderKlok, Nick Hyma (Alicia), Katie Hyma, Kyle Hyma (Lisa), Rachel Beld (Jeff), Josh Mulder (Amalia), Alec Mulder (Samantha) and Nikki Koning (Mike); his great grandchildren, Alyssah, Alex, Noelle, Joey, Titus, Asher, Coen, Noah, Charlee, Louis, Ben, Max, Jace, Emmie, Colton and Sammy; his siblings, Andy VanderKlok (Joyce) and Marilyn Vanderlind; and his sisters-in-law, Joan VanderKlok and Joyce Bergsma (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Westend Christian Reformed Church (1015 Westend Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Contributions in his memory may be made to Faith Hospice or the Christian Education Fund at Westend CRC.
