He was predeceased by: his sister Janet Gambs. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Cargo Riggs; his children, Susan Kase (Rick) of Rockford, MI, Pamela Gelasco (Andrew) of Chattanooga, TN and James Riggs (Marita) of Baltimore, MD; and his grandchildren, James Kase, Daniel Kase, Emma Riggs Artner, Rose Riggs, Katie Jo Gelasco, Fargo, Boston and Nashville.
