He was predeceased by: his son Allen; his parents, Ernest Dymond and Miriam Dymond (Teliin); and his mother-in-law Cristina Truax-Jones. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette; his children, David Dymond (Kelly), Desiree Dymond, Stuart Dymond and Nathan Dymond; his grandchildren, Amelia, Maya, Bryce, Liam, Emme and Jocelyn; his siblings, James Dymond (Gladys), Barbara Jimenez (Albert), Cheryl Dymond and Marsha Hales; and his siblings-in-law, Joan Young (Patrick) and Jeffrey Truax (Erminia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
