He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Haines and Ada Haines; and his brother Tom Haines. He is survived by: his wife Carol Haines; his children, John Haines (Susan), Dave Haines (Andrea) and Caroline Freihofer (Paul); his grandchildren, Sam Haines (Nicole), Zach Haines (Brianna), Joe Freihofer (Abi Teme) and Anna Freihofer; his great grandchildren, Pierce and Rosemary Haines; and his brother Fred Haines.
