He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marcella Hamacher and Walter Hamacher; his wife Pat Hamacher; his daughters, Christine Tucker (John) and Lisa Poturalski (Chris); and his grandchildren, Meghan Tucker, Caroline Tucker and Kellan Poturalski.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church (224 Carrier St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Diamond Hall (435 Diamond Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his name to Kid's Food Basket, Memorial/Tribute Page, or checks can be made payable to Kid's Food Basket and include In Memory of Dick Hamacher on the Memo Line.
