He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Weemhoff and Linda Weemhoff (VanKuiken). He is survived by: his son Richard "Ricky" John Weemhoff IV (Angel); his granddaughter Stella; his girlfriend Valerie Seabolt; his girlfriend's children, Jennifer Walker (Dion), Tara Powell and Joshua Smith (Amanda); and his sisters, Julie Terveen (Bob), Diane Piersma (Tim) and Kathie Perdue. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
