He was predeceased by: his brother Wayne Whitcomb. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his sons, Erick, David and Nicholas; his grandson Quinten Heller; and his siblings, Sharon Bowhuis (Rick), Linda Whitcomb, Ronald Whitcomb (Jill) and Jeffrey Whitcomb (Julie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society will be appreciated.
