We bid farewell to Richard Mackey of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Mackey and Lucille Mackey (Miche); his former wife Janet Mackey; and his siblings, Robert Mackey and Donna Veenstra.
He is survived by: his wife Barb Mackey; his children, Kevin Mackey (Jill), Ryan Mackey, Tod Mackey (Lisa) and Bret Mackey (Lisa); his grandchildren, Troy Sremba (Michelle), Todd Sremba, Kelli Hinton (Tim) and Bobbi Shuttuck (Shane); and his sister Bonnie Meyer. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
