He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Peterson and Alvina Peterson (Zarbock); and his wife Jo (Jo). He is survived by: his stepchildren, Barb Cizauskas (Todd) and Keith Van Polen; his stepgranddaughter Lindsay Van Polen; his aunt Esther Kowalczyk; his cousins, Joyce Frantz (Gene), Wendy Randall (Starl), Cathy Gillstedt, Den Kowalczyk (Marcia), Jackie Ross (Bob) and Jim Peterson (Kim); and his friends, Larry and Nancy Travis.
