We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2025, Rick Veen (Grand Rapids, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rick shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rick farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill VanderVeen and Lucille VanderVeen. He is survived by: his siblings, Jacquelyn West (Bennett) and Randall VanderVeen (Carol); and his siblings' children, Lauren West, Corie Dykhouse (Colbi) and Bradd VanderVeen.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (1833 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
