He was predeceased by: his parents, Rynard Bouwens and Bernadine Bouwens; his sister Pam Hatkowski (Rick); and his nephew RJ Bouwens. He is survived by: his siblings, Randy Bouwens (Pearl), Gary Bouwens (Ellen), Nancy Edgerle (Jerry) and Pat Danenberg (late Bill Danenberg); and his wife Sheri Bouwens (Dekker) of Traverse City.
