Robert Lee Harig Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Lee Harig of Grand Rapids, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Harig and Rose Harig; and his brothers, Norman and Maurice Harig. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Michael Harig (Sharon) and Michelle Cowin (Mike); his grandchildren, Matthew, Chloe Harig, William and Jonathan Cowin; and his sisters-in-law, Gwen Smith, Sandra Forest (Tom) and Christine Wight (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
