It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Patrick Hatton of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on January 30, 2026, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He is survived by: his parents, Marie Bernadette Haynes and Richard Charles Hatton Jr.; his sister Kathleen Hatton; his nieces and nephews, Devin Hatton (Kelsey), Michael Sanderson (Bree) and Stephanie Hatton; and his great-nieces, Lyanna Scoby and Vivian Mccune.
