He was predeceased by: his wife Doris J. Smith; his parents, Robert A. Smith and Eva Smith; and his sister Virginia Bodbyl. He is survived by: his children, Sue Ross (Carl), Judy West (Roland), Larry Smith (Gerri) and David Smith; his grandchildren, Jason, Lee Ross, Melissa, Jim Deyoung, Christopher, Kyle Quirk, Amber, Chris Alviar, Heather and Jared Ruehs; and his sister Helen Smith Morris.
