We bid farewell to Robert Wayne Maddox (Grand Rapids, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 29, 2025 at the age of 79. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Maddox and Harland Maddox; his siblings, Douglas Maddox, Joanne Rittenhouse, Nancy Martz-Sorenson, James Maddox and Thomas Maddox; and his siblings-in-law, Christine Maddox (Poel) and James Bayles.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Maddox (Dee), Anita Baker (Dave) and Joe Maddox (Chrissy); his siblings, Jeanne Bayles, Jerome McGraw (Marilyn), Frederick Maddox (Cyndee), Sue Owens, Phil Maddox (Beth) and Dede Briggs; and his brother-in-law Rob Rittenhouse. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and many very special friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. George (1513 Quarry Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
