He was predeceased by: his brother Thom. He is survived by: his wife Alyce; his daughters, Kristen Astley (Andrew) of Cohasset, MA and Kathryn Zbanek (Jason) of Bloomfield Twp, MI; his stepchildren, Greg Noorman (Stacey) of Grandville, MI and Sarah Farney (Scott) of Grandville, MI; his grandchildren, Ben, Maggie, Charlotte Astley, Jack and Madeline Zbanek; his stepgrandsons, Bradley Noorman (Chelsea), Jacob Noorman (Kaylee), David Noorman, Garrett Farney (Kenzie), Owen Farney and Caleb Farney (Lauryn); and his brothers, Joel (Kate) of Rhode Island and Jim of Fennville, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Matthysse Kuiper DeGraaf Funeral Home (4145 Chicago Dr SW, Grandville, MI 49418). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
