He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Troost and Frieda [Veltkamp] Troost; his wife Mary [Hamilton] Troost; and his brothers, Raymond Jr. and Dennis Troost.

He is survived by: his brothers, Fred (Lynn) and Kenneth Troost (Edna).
