He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Vander Wal (De Vries); his brother Douglas Vander Wall; and his parents, Peter Vander Wall and Jessie Vander Wall (Bos). He is survived by: his children, Randy Vander Wal and Jillon Vander Wal (Dennis Boman); and his close friend Don Karpinski.
