With sadness, we share the passing of Roderick P. Francis of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Roderick, born on March 16, 1963, passed away on September 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Roderick for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Walter and Virginia Ruth Francis (Pierce); and his brothers, Donald Francis, John Francis, Paul Francis and Lester Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Trudi Francis of Grand Rapids; his children, Alicia Kay Francis Hicks, Jeremy Hicks of Greenville and Roderick P. "Rod" Francis II of Grand Rapids; and his brother Rocky Francis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Olson-Kiste Veterans of Foreign Wars (114 N Bridge St, Belding, MI 48809).
