He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Kingma (Todd), Janet Spoelhof (Scott), Richard Boerema (Wende) and Mary Jill Morren (Robert); and his grandchildren, Travis Kingma (Samantha), Kristin Kingma, Kara Lowman (Nathan), Kaitlin DeMaagd (Scott), Jonathan Spoelhof (Anna), Claire Brouwer (Ben), Christopher (Emma), Jameson, Schuyler Boerema, Tyler (Grace), Nathan (Isabel), Austin and Logan Morren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the LaGrave Christian Reformed Church (107 La Grave Ave SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Grand Rapids Christian Schools or LaGrave Church InterCity Missions.
