We announce the death of Roman J Sobie Sr. of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on August 13, 2026, at the age of 92. Roman will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Sally; his children, Roman Jr., Carol, Mark and David Campbell; his son-in-law David Jones; and his grandchildren, Alex, John and Joanne.
He is survived by: his children, Steven (Candy), Christine Jones, Michael (Peni) and Robert (Jill); and his daughters-in-law, Jennifer and Lorri. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
