He was predeceased by: his parents, John VanderZand and Marion VanderZand; and his brothers, Larry and Roger. He is survived by: his significant other Kathy; his stepchildren, Brian and Nicole Dykhouse; his granddaughters, Emma and Molly; his brother Jim VanderZand; his sisters-in-law, Nancy VanderZand and Mary Anne VanderZand; and his friend Kathleen Linderman. He is also survived by six nieces and several cousins, as well as countless friends.
