It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Vance of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on May 22, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Vance; his children, Jodie Vance, Crystal Kubiak, Leo, Leah Kubiak, Kayla, Cory Nichols, Ronald Jacob and Emily Vance; his grandchildren, Rowan of Eloise, CJ, Julien, Lyllyan, Ashlyn, Anna Marie, Kyah, Xavier, Jon, Bella, Zachary, Alexis and Todd; and his siblings-in-law, Rodney (Eva Stark) and Cindy (Jeff Potgether). He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please pass on Ron's legacy by contributing or volunteering at Food Hugs, a youth sports program, or youth fishing program.
