He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Brummel and Frieda Lindemulder Brummel; and his grandson Caleb Brummel. He is survived by: his wife Muriel Brummel; his children, Mel (Joni Brummel), Beverly (Frank DePiazza), Kenneth Brummel (Anne) and Bentley Kollen; and his brother Don (Ruth Brummel). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
