We are sad to announce that, on April 13, 2024, at the age of 96, Ruth Brouwer (Grand Rapids, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wieland and Minnie Wieland; her sister June Weemhoff; and her son-in-law Donald Sloat. She is survived by: her significant other Jack Brouwer; her children, Linda Sloat, Douglas Brouwer (Susan DeYoung) and Wendy Mersman (James); and her grandchildren, Amanda Sloat, Molly Sloat, Sarah Brouwer, Elizabeth Brouwer and Brian Mersman.
