She is survived by: her husband Ronald; her children, Becky Simkins (Chad), Tracy Todd (Ross) and Jason Vander Meer (Aime); her grandchildren, Jared (Slone), Jacob, Joshua, Jackson Simkins, Brayden, Landen, McKenzie Todd, Brinley and Dawson Vander Meer; her siblings, Nick Van Belkum (Delores) and Ariel Hallock (Gary); and her sister-in-law Carol Strain (Craig). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shelley's name to Community Recovery through New Community Church.
