She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris VanHattem and Maude VanHattem; her brothers, Paul VanHattem, Robert "Bob" (Marge VanHattem) and Ray VanHattem (Jean VanHattem Reminga); her former husband John Joyce; and her son-in-law William "Bill" Swart.
She is survived by: her children, J. Michael (Susan Joyce), Madelyn "Lyn" Joyce Swart and David (Mary Joyce); her grandchildren, Shari and Richard Stembaugh; her children, Jeffrey, Doreen Joyce, Ryan, Loretta Joyce, Christine (Tim Fischer), Kathryn "Katie" and Jeff Dietz; and her stepson William "Billy" (Arlene Thiebout). She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, children and grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
