She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard James Skrycki; her parents, Clarence Holmgren and May Holmgren; and her siblings, Patricia Thome, Richard Holmgren (Donna) and Jack Holmgren (Judith).
She is survived by: her daughter Ann Jackson; her son-in-law Dan Jackson; and her grandchildren, Aidan and Olivia. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 7:30 PM at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary (3525 Remembrance Rd NW, Walker, MI 49544). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (2510 Richmond St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504-2239). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 22nd 2026 at the Rosedale Cemetery (50 Lake Michigan Dr, Walker, MI 49544).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Church for Masses offered in Ruthanne's memory.
