He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Donald, Gay Moody, William and Dorothy Watikunas. He is survived by: his wife Megan Watikunas (Schaner); his pet Oliver; his parents, Susan Phillips (Dan) and Bill Watikunas (Merribeth); his siblings, Molly Taylor (Shawn), Jennifer Hulswit (Jeff), Billy Watikunas (Taryn), Kelsea Salgado (Freddie) and Neil Csolkovits (Emerson); his parents-in-law, Pam and Lew Schaner; and his sister-in-law Laura Schaner. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helen DeVos Children's Hospital.
