With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sandra Vee Conklin in Grand Rapids, Michigan, born in Charlotte, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 14, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Wood and Athol Wood; her brother Burr Wood; and her sons, Gregory Stoken, James "Jumbo" Stoken and Chad Stoken.
She is survived by: her husband Allen Conklin; her children, Julia Rummelt (Jim), Jodi Mendham (Phil), Margaret Stoken, Patricia Martin (Greg), Dalynne Preston (Jim), Koral Pfishner (Chet), Darren Conklin and Mike Conklin (Denise); and her siblings, Linda Wood, Dan Wood (Connie), Leon Wood (Mary), Bruce Wood (Marsha), Becky Zgoda (Bruce), Loren Wood (Amy), Renee Kole (Kevin) and Eric Wood (Gwen). She is also survived by 70 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her honor to Corewell Hospice.
