He was predeceased by: his wife Julie; his parents, Walter Palasek and Joyce Palasek; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Palasek and Joseph Sweeney.
He is survived by: his children, Martha Leavitt (Steve) and Andrew Palasek (Kelli); his granddaughter Sophie DeLoof; his siblings, Mike Palasek and Lynne Larson (Randy); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Ann O'Neill (Tim), Tony Arsulowicz (Cammie) and Mike Arsulowicz (Betty).
