He is survived by: his wife Susan (VanHouten); his children, Sherwyn Jr. Clarke (Lisa), John Clarke (Lisa), Michelle Clarke, Autumn VanderMolen and Christopher Clarke (Kassandra); his grandchildren, Kaley Koewers, Brianna Clarke, Molly Clarke, Ryne Clarke, Zachary Clarke, Drew, Joshua, Nicolas VanderMolen and Hailey Clarke; his sisters, Lori Greenleaf (Rick) and Kathy Hollemans; his sister-in-law Sandy Clarke; his niece Sherri Nichols (James); and his friends, Ron, Deb Krause and Ray Attema. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy are encouraged to make a memorial donation in his honor to Paws with a Cause; or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
