It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Hone (Grand Rapids, Michigan), born in Oak Park, Michigan, who passed away on June 6, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Stanley and Sybil Nora Hone (Benner); his wife Susan A. Hone (Adams); his son John S. Hone; and his sister Juliette Thomas (Hone).

He is survived by: his children, Sara J. Williams (Craig), Juliette S. Gauss (Hone), David W. Hone (Karen) and Thomas A. Hone; his daughter-in-law Kelley Hone (Verbeerst); his grandchildren, Mark Williams (Elizabeth), Amy Borlik (Greg), Zachary Hone (Maria), Rachael Hone (Christian Gietzen), Jared Gauss (Shanna), Andrew Gauss (Dana), Nathan Hone (Casey), Taylor Hone, Sarah Hone and Hendrick Hone; and his great grandchildren, Grace Williams, Laura Williams, Anna Borlik, Hudson Borlik, Olivia Kate Borlik, Luca Hone, Louise Hone-Gietzen, Gabriel Gauss, Brennan Gauss, Vivian Gauss and Iliza Gauss. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and close cousins.
