It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Hyde of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on July 16, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steven Hyde to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his father Vern; his nephew Derik Pitchellis; his grandson Tristan Otten; and his brother-in-law Don Rawlins. He is survived by: his children, Steven Hyde Jr. (Rachel), Robert Puls, Kristine Merlington (Ryan), Nicole McCurdy and Alysia McCurdy; his mother Laura Hyde; and his siblings, Linda Pitchellis, Salli Rawlins and Tom Hyde (Lisa). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren with one on the way, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stroo Funeral Home (1095 68th St SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
