He was predeceased by: his father Vern; his nephew Derik Pitchellis; his grandson Tristan Otten; and his brother-in-law Don Rawlins. He is survived by: his children, Steven Hyde Jr. (Rachel), Robert Puls, Kristine Merlington (Ryan), Nicole McCurdy and Alysia McCurdy; his mother Laura Hyde; and his siblings, Linda Pitchellis, Salli Rawlins and Tom Hyde (Lisa). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren with one on the way, and 3 great-grandchildren.
