Steven Karas Obituary
The memory of Steven Karas of Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on June 24, 2025 at the age of 71, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah; his parents, Merv Karas and Mary Karas; and his brother Michael Karas. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Ramsey (Michael) and Brandy Hobbs (Brandon); his grandchildren, Gabriel Bogginao, Tayah Bogginao and Nolan Hobbs; his great grandchild Thomas Bogginao; and his siblings, Carol Keller (Jim), Douglas Karas (Kim), Catherine Bertschinger, Janice Gould, Patricia Zerkle (Tim), Mike Coffman (Tina), Renee Blett, Shane Coffman and Steve Kranenberg. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the MKD Stegenga Funeral Chapel (3131 Division Ave S, Grand Rapids, MI 49548). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
