He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewald Wieren and Elaine Van Wieren; and his daughter Megan Brower. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Van Wieren (Vos); his son Mark Van Wieren (Liz); his grandchildren, Westley Van Wieren, Everest Van Wieren, Autumn Van Wieren, Charlotte Brower and Jonah Brower; and his brother Ronald Van Wieren (Diane). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
