He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dooley and Kathleen Dooley (Kelley); and his siblings, Michael, William Dooley and Mary Newcomb.
He is survived by: his wife Marjean Tjoelker Dooley; his children, Douglas Dooley, Michael Dooley (Sarah) and Rachel Dooley (Daniel Koevary); his grandchildren, Declan, Emerson and Lochlan Dooley; his children, Alexander and Layla Koevary; his sister Patricia Eid; and his sister-in-law Kathy Dooley (Anne Hagen). He is also survived by the mother of his children, Marjean's children and grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Third Reformed Church (2060 Michigan St NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
