He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Kasprzak and Louise Kasprzak (Lasch); his in-laws, Jack and Marge Swanson; his brother-in-law Chuck Moceri; and his pets, Ilford, Gretzky and Cedar.

He is survived by: his wife Sara Kasprzak (Swanson); his pets, Pali and Poppi; his siblings, Nancy Moceri, Ted Kasprzak (Renee) and Cathie Rusche (Dave); and his nieces and nephews, Carla Moceri (Peter Newman), Lisa Moceri (Matt Carpenter), Peter Rusche (Sharon), Neal Rusche (Karen), Andrea Kasprzak, Rachel Kasprzak, Ross Swanson (Alex) and Nina Swanson. He is also survived by eight great-nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in memory of Tom may be made to the Humane Society of West Michigan or the American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan.
