He is survived by: his wife Dianne Roode; his daughter Sara Murray (Adam); his grandchildren, Ella, Murray and Maven Grace Murray; his siblings-in-law, Tom Van Straten (Brenda), Cindy Kostylek (Phil) and Jackie Van Straten; and his pet Blue. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Reyers North Valley Chapel (2815 Fuller Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
