He was predeceased by: his mother Marcia Bouwens (Weber); and his pet Molly. He is survived by: his daughters, Rita and Julie Bouwens; his father Jim Bouwens; his sisters, Susie Harrington (Mike) and Debbie Dewey (Geoff); his former wife Rachel Bouwens; and his father-in-law Bob Huisken. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Walker Ice & Fitness (4151 Remembrance Rd NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49534).
