We announce the death of Timothy Michael Schau (Grand Rapids, Michigan), who passed away on September 25, 2026. Timothy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barbara Schau and Al Schau; his uncle Carl Barr; and his parents-in-law, Tetsuo Deguchi and Takako Deguchi.
He is survived by: his wife Kaori; his son Christopher; his siblings, Robert Schau, Kirsty Chartier (Sylvain) and Cindy Hansen (Dave); his stepmother Patty Schau; and his pet Shinto. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (2700 Fulton St E, Grand Rapids, MI 49506). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
