He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald J. Werkema Sr. and Shirley Boersma; and his brothers, Rick Werkema and Larry Werkema. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer DeVries (James), Tammy Fountain (Joseph) and Tim J. Werkema Jr.; and his siblings, Don Werkema Jr. (Linda), John Werkema (Cheryl), Jammie Brock and Lynda Deulen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (1833 Plainfield Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505).
