He was predeceased by: his daughter Jennifer; and his brothers, Judson and Robert "Scott" Grassmid. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Grant, Danielle, Kyle and Tami; his grandchildren, Robert and Evelynn; his sister Barbara "Peach" Lautenbach (Mike); and his siblings-in-law, Reynold DeJager (Angela), Mary Bouman (Randy), Karen VanDenBerge (Rick), Laura Schuurmans (Rick) and Paul DeJager (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
